DROP EYE is live recording of the cutup-performance by Afghanistan Mon Amour (Power aka Brii Bauer & Sean Derrick Cooper Marquardt) in collaboration with the visual artist tin.hoc aka Tina Hochkogler which took place in Vienna, Breitenseer Lichtspiele on June 22nd 2023.
It was the climax and ending of the retropective event FOCUS On - tin.hoc, showing her outstanding video works.
Sean Derrick Cooper Martquardt presence on this live album is felt travelling through distance and other worldiness, beaming upon the stage interweaving into the live performance and joining into a duality of spiritual connectivity.
Sound and picture keep the same rhythm, in quick cutup-sequence they take the audience on an overwhelming journey where the drift is too fast for capturing the single moment - it´s the chain of juxtaposition blowing mind.

In August 2021 Power and Sean Derrick Cooper Marquardt founded Afghanistan Mon Amour, an avant-garde experimental music duo, which is recognized for live performances & recordings where they communicate in sounds that challenge the audience and go deep under their skin. Since the founding the project has released several albums, partizipated on many compilations and radio shows all over the world and had performances in Vienna, Berlin and Graz. AMA has collaborated with artists like Käthe Kruse (Die Tödliche Doris) or Black Saturn and Godzilla from New York. Last year Afghanistan Mon Amour made The NBTMusic Radio Station top 100 with their first conceptual album.
